Hemorrhoids problems

I am suffering from bleeding hemorrhoids.. do you have something that will help.. also I am on high blood pressure and asthma medication.. is there any help?

Essential oils for hemorrhoids

Hi Candy,

For this recipe I chose essential oils that are helpful for hemorrhoids, whether or not they are bleeding, and these oils are safe to use with high blood pressure and asthma. Do not use Juniper if you are pregnant or breast feeding.

See if you can purchase a glass bottle with a dropper that will hold an ounce of fluid. The bottle should be either amber or cobalt in color to protect the essential oils from light.

Recipe:

This mixture is a topical mixture for the anus, and should not be put inside the rectum. In 2 tablespoons (which equals 1 ounce) of witch hazel, add the following essential oils:

1 drop Bergamot (Citrus aurantium var. bergamia)
3 drops Geranium (Pelargonium graveolens)
2 drops Juniper (Juniperus communis)
1 drop Patchouli (Pogostemon cablin)
1 drop Sandalwood (Santalum album)

Shake well before each use because the essential oils do not mix well in witch hazel. Apply ½ to 1 dropperful of the mixture to a cotton ball or flat cotton disc pad, and then apply to the hemorrhoids. It's helpful to hold the cotton there for about 1 minute, and do not wash it off (unless you have an adverse reaction, such as serious burning sensation). This will feel warm and possibly have a very mild burning feeling, but it should pass in a couple of minutes. This is normal. It's important to do this after bowel movements, and the mixture can be applied 3 times daily, which is especially helpful if the hemorrhoids also hurt or itch.

When purchasing these oils, be sure to go by the Latin name in parenthesis.
