For treating sinus related conditions just add a few drops of tea tree oil in a steam bath or vaporizer. If you prefer using hot water for inhalation you may add 5-10 drops of the same. This may potentially reduce the risk of the condition from progressing.

Gum infections:

Plaque and other gum problems may be prevented by using tea tree oil as a component to a mouthwash. Do not swallow the solution. Diluted amount is not toxic but might initiate a reaction to the stomach.

1-2 drops of tea tree oil may be applied neat on stings and insect bites. This will aid in progressive swelling. Additionally this can help reduce the redness and itching as well.

Skin Irritations and Sunburns:

Few drops of Tea tree oil will help soothe the discomforts of minor sunburns and skin irritation. These few drops are placed in bath water to reduce the swelling and the feeling of itchiness.

Bug Repellent:

Tea tree oil has a notable insect-repelling property. By placing a few drops to the area infested helps keep these bugs like roaches and ants away. By combining this essential oil with water you are able to create a solution you can use to clean the pantry and cupboards. Dust mites may be eliminated by rubbing some volume of the oil onto your mattress. Additionally this may be applied into the vacuum cleaner bag to eliminate the mites infecting the carpet.
