You need not always work on standard stress relief techniques to get rid of them. Sometimes a moment of senseless act or even just some past time can help you a lot more than trying to look neat, clean and disciplined always.
Scream out loud:
It may seem odd, but just letting out a loud scream can help relieve a lot of stress. Probably you cannot do it at home or in the office, but you surely can do it in your car while you are riding it. Just roll up the windows, shout at the top of your voice and feel the difference.
Sing a tune:
Many times just singing a song can help relieve stress too. There are always tunes that keep playing in our minds. Just bring them to your lips and you will see the stress and anxiety just melt away.
Pursue a hobby:
Hobby can be a great way to digress from stress in your life. Painting, music, knitting, sewing, just anything creative can help you a lot in busting stress.
Gardening:
Gardening is quite a busy job that can help bust stress. You do not always need a lawn to garden. Even people in apartments can maintain pot gardens. Taking care of plants and watching them grow can be one of the most satisfying and relaxing things one can do.
Get pets:
There are very few stress busters that are more effective than pets. A playful dog or a cuddling cat can make the stress vanish in no time. Research shows that people with pets have a less stressful life and live longer than people without them.
Gaze at the sky:
It is an old adage to gaze at the sky, but it can really do wonders to you. On a warm clear night, just go to the terrace, lie down on a cot with a blanket and keep looking at the sky. Pretty soon you will have no thoughts and you will be rejuvenated.
Take a bubble bath:
under the soft glow of a candle, a warm bubble bath can just drain all your stress. A simple time to indulge and pleasure yourself will help get rid of all the stress troubling you.
So there you have it 27 ways to bust the stress. As you can see there is no pattern to them, they are all over the place. The only thing common is a way to get you distracted and help you counter the effects of stress. Based on this you can come up with your own solutions to manage stress too. The path does not matter, what matters is the end goal – to de-stress yourself.
