Sandalwood Essential Oils Profile.

Botanical name : Santalum Album.

Origin : India.

Scent : A deep woody aroma.

Note : Base.

Blends well with basil, bergamot, cedarwood, clary sage, cypress, fennel, frankincense, geranium, jasmine, juniper, lavender, lemon, marjoram, neroli, orange, myrrh, rose, ylang ylang.

This essential oil is extracted from the wood by steam distillation.

Physical Benefits

Stimulates and strengthens the immune system and is beneficial for urinary infections. Soothes sore throats and helps ease laryngitis and bronchitis. Soothing and moisturizing for dry skin, antiseptic and astringent for oily skin and acne.

Mind and Spirit

Promotes deep, peaceful meditation. Relaxing and calming, easing depression, stress and fear. This sensuous oil is also reputed as aphrodisiac.
