Lavender or Bay for hair growth?

by S. Asad

Hello,

Please could you advise whether Lavender and Bay essential Oils are good for hair growth. I've heard 4-6 drops each, of these two essential oils added to Almond oil (which is used as a base oil)is very good. Please advise how much Almond oil i need to use, and whether I should replace any of these oils with another oil.

I hope to hear from you very soon.

Thank you
S. Asad

Hi,

Both of them are very good to make a scalp treatment.

add 6 drops of each to 1/2 cup warm almond, soy or jojoba oil. Message the mixture into the scalp for 20 mins daily then wash it out with shampoo which contain bay essential oils.

The most effective ways to keep hair roots healthy is to stimulate the scalp by massage. so it can increases local blood flow and stimulates hair growth.

There are 2 kind of bay essential oils in the market that are not related to each other. the one that you should be using is the west indian bay oil which is distilled from the leaves of tree of Pimenta racemosa. It has a strong spicy scent much like clove.
