itchy scalp and hair loss

by Raewyn Burnham

Have been trying the usual recommendations for using lavender oil, chamomile oil and rosemary oil with limited success. Is Neem oil used for my condition and if so how.

Many thanks for your expert advice.

aromatherapy for itchy scalp and hair loss
by: Melanie Vonzabuesnig

Yes neem oil can be very helpful for all scalp and hair loss conditions. It's high sulfur content makes it very valuable for hair health. The high sulfur content also gives it the strong garlicky scent that it is known for.

If your scalp massage treatment is highly diluted it may not be potent enough to stimulate new hair growth. Other very effective scalp stimulating oils include basil and peppermint.
