Homemade aroma spray for face and body

hi want to make sprays n mists with aroma oils for face n body, do i need to put emulsifier n alcohol in them? n are there any natural options if i have to put alcohol n emulsifier

Hi,

You don't need to put emulsifier or alcohol in your spray. Alcohol needs to helps kill bacteria.

Try my aromatherapy body spray recipe. I use water or witch hazel, instead of alcohol.

Aroma Repellent

Hi thanks for previous query reply, will be great help if we can make mosquito repellent lotion or spray, mist that can be used safely on body n face, when we are outdoor rather then use deet or chemical based cream? in india , mumbai mosquitoes are big menace, neem oil helps when we spray it in home , do not know if its safe to use on body? n it has very bitter n unpleasant smell ?

Hi Manisha,

You can mix eucalyptus lemon (Eucalyptus citriodora)
with plain distilled water, shake well, and spray on your skin.

I recommend not more than 2-3% dilution.

Or a simple method You can add eucalyptus lemon to any lotion.

Beside eucalyptus lemon you can use: Lavender, Citronella, Sandalwood and Cedarwood.

Or you can buy our premixed insect repellent, Bug Away Spray and Bug Off! Spray NOW as a Spray!

No witch hazel in india

Hi it's not possible for me to get natural witch hazel liquid in India , Mumbai, so I need to know any other options I can use to make my aroma oil sprays? just oil n water will not last and not even mix properly.
