Essential oils and soy wax

I wanted to add essential oil to my soy candles but I'm not sure how much to add. I made a candle and when i take the lid off the jar it smells really good, but when i burn the candle i can not smell anything. do you know how much essential oil to add to 1lb of soy wax?
