Diffuser and Essential Oils for COPD

I have COPD and would like to purchase a diffuser along with the correct oils you suggest I use. I usually suffer w/bronchitis, loose but sometimes dry cough/yellow-green sputem 5-6 times a year.

Diffuser and EO suggestions

Hi Joan,

The simplest diffuser is simply to apply a few drops to a cotton ball or on a tissue. Then simply inhale.

But if you want to diffuse in a room or home then there are several options. But I think Fan style diffusers work great for most folks with respiratory conditions.

You could try using any combination of essential oils: Some that are helpful include Eucalyptus, Peppermint, Pine needle and Spruce needle. Also Myrtle and Hyssop appear to help many folks with COPD.

Prevention is really the best medicine. You should diffuse a variety of essential oils all the time to help keep her immune system strong.

Again, using one of the various ways to diffuse and you can diffuse any essential oil that you really likes.

EO for Prevention

Hi Joan,

I have found Essential Oils for prevention, Eucalyptus, Thyme, Lavender and Rosemary. Place 3 to 5 drops in 2 cups of water in a humidifier to prevent infection.

Blends Suggestion

Hi Joan,

If you want the simple way for prevention you can buy Four robber's blends.

For folks that have chronic conditions this works best to be diffused all the time at low amounts. It helps to prevent but can be more irritating during flare-ups. You needs to use this in moderation.
