Cat rash

Lady

Lady

My cat has quite and extensive rash on her back, she doesn't scratch a lot or lick a lot. I can't see it but it feels like scabs.

I've recently found a spray with Tea Tree and Aloe Vera. I'd like to add something and am wondering about Lavender or Chamomile - or is there something else you would suggest?

It started some time ago when we moved house and I've done the round of vets. Also, is there an oil that might encourage her to use one place as her bed as she settles different places all the time now.

I'm reluctant to take her to the vet again as she's had so much stuff pumped into her. Can you help please. She eats ok.

Never use essential oil on cats!
by: Cristl Arndt

Never use essential oils of any kind on cats. Cats lack a liver enzyme, glucuronyl tranferase, that is specific for metabolizing the terpene molecules that make up essential oils. The terpenes will build up in their system causing toxicity and possibly death.

Cat Rash Concern
by: Star

l hope your vet did the test from the sore area. l heard the this is mange. And when the animal is sick, maybe even stressed, the mange take over bady.

It is called Domesticmange and not the kind people can catch. Have her/him check for this cause and see what the stress or sickness may be.

All cats and dogs are born with mange mites but the weak and sick are the ones to break out badly.
