Aromatherapy Mask
Aromatherapy mask can have a wonderful rejuvenating effect on your skin.
Aromatherapy Facial mask is used to cleansing, nourishing, and revitalizing. They promote the elimination of waste material and stimulate local blood circulation.
Usually basic ingredients for aromatherapy mask are clay, oatmeal, fruit or vegetable oil, floral water and essential oils.
Clay masks are used in beauty therapy to draw out impurities. Clays have the ability to absorb toxins as they are eliminated from skin. In clay mask treatment, the heat under the layer of clay is increased by trapped body heat, causing pore-cleansing perspiration. Clays also re-mineralization skin tissues; minerals are a necessary component of skin health. Without mineral salts, skin loses moisture and becomes devitalized and sagging.
To draw out impurities, let the mask dry until it gets tight. Avoid leaving the mask on too long, because it can be drying to the skin.
To remove the mask, soak a small towel in tepid water, wrap around the face, and allow the mask to moisten. Then gently wipe off the mask.
Strawberries and yogurt contain natural alpha- hydroxy acids that help soften and refine skin texture. Rosemary and lavender essential oils rejuvenate skin by stimulating cellular renewal.
Mash 1 large ripe strawberry with 1 tablespoon yogurt. Mix in one drop rosemary essential oil, 2 drops of lavender essential oil and 1 teaspoon of cosmetic clay. If you have dry skin, add 1/2 teaspoon almond or jojoba oil to the mixture.
Apply the mask to freshly cleansed skin. Leave in place for 20 minutes or more, and then remove with a warm, wet washcloth. Follow with the Honey-Lavender Moisturizing Mask or a moisturizer.

Bentonite is a swelling clay. When it becomes mixed with water it rapidly swells open like a highly porous sponge. From here the toxins are drawn into the sponge through electrical attraction and once there, they are bound.
