Aromatherapy Face Oils Recipes

I'm looking for aromatherapy face oils equivalent to Pevonia's (sensitive, combination, and dry skin) for my facial massage during facials. The owner of the spa I work in will not reorder them, and I am used to using them for a great, beneficial massage and treatment before masking. Will your recipes be good for slip? Or is this a misuse of these recipes? Normally only a few drops are massaged in, however, I like to use a little more to include the neck, shoulders, and decollete before I mask...

Hi C.,

Thanks for dropping by here. Usually a massage oil blend will use carrier oil about 2:1 ratio, meaning -- if you put 2 drops essential oils, you'll have to mix with 1 ml of carrier oils. Most of my recipes here in this site are using this ratio, but of course some of them which adapted from several collections of aromatherapy books may not use this method. However, since the writer are experience in this field, I think it should be ok to use their guideline.

If you found that 2:1 ratio is not good enough to make it slip, you can add a few drops of carrier oil make your blends more lubricate. I suggest adding carrier oil drop by drop so it will not too much.
