Aromatherapy Body Lotion

with aromatherapy body lotion.



Many products of body lotion out there are wonderful, but if you like to create your own unique mix of essential oils that will give you the smell and benefits that you're looking for, try making your own body lotion.

It isn't hard to create your aromatherapy body lotion. Just mix some of your unscented lotion with a few drops of essential oil. Takes only 5 minutes then you'll get your own signature line of homemade body lotions without the harsh chemicals found in commercial products!

Basic Recipe

aromatherapy body lotionTo make a quick aromatherapy body lotion, you can buy 4 oz. unscented body lotion from our supplier and add essential oils according to your skin type.

For normal skin: 5 drops rose, 10 drops lavender and 5 drops bergamot essential oils.

For oily skin: 7 drops of each of cypress, cedarwood and frankincense essential oils.

For dry skin: 7 drops of each of geranium, lavender and rosewood essential oils.

For mature skin: 7 drops of each of frankincense, lavender and patchouli essential oils.

The benefit of making your own body lotion is you can mixing essential oils as stated below to create the mood.

Want something for de-stressing then you can mix 5 drop fennel, 15 drops geranium and 10 drops grapefruit to 8 oz. of unscented body lotion.

For refreshing and stimulating to start off your day, you can try to mix 12 drops of lemon, 4 drops of rosemary and 4 drops of peppermint added to 4 oz. of unscented body lotion.

To relieve muscular aches and rheumatic pain, try to mix 18 drops of juniper, 9 drops of rosemary, 6 drops of lemon and 6 drops of eucalyptus added to 8 oz. of unscented body lotion.

For safety

Vary the essential oils you use. Using the same facial oil blend for a long period of time is acceptable because it only cover small parts of your body. But if you use body lotion for the whole body every day, it is advise to alternate to products that contain different mix of essential oils after a couple of weeks. Using the same mix of essential oils for longer period may harm your kidney and liver.

This is a light, quickly absorbed, all over hand and body lotion, it can be used alone or add your favorite essential oils.
INGREDIENTS:Aqua (water), Cocos nucifera (Coconut oil), Kosher Vegetable Glycerin, Eumulsifying Wax NF (Vegetable Source), Vitis vinifera (Grapeseed oil), Stearic Acid (Vegetable Source) Aloe barbadensis (Aloe) Leaf Juice, Methyl Propylparaben, Xantham Gum

Tips if you want to blends essential oils with this lotion try to use wire wisk to get the best result. Just stirring with a spoon did not seem to blend the oils and lotion very well, but the wire wisk does a very good job.
