Lavender can be used as a mist to freshen and deodorize the air in your home or office.

Lavender oil is also a great insect repellant. It was used in sachets inside trunks and drawers to keep the little critters at bay.

Lavender oils are used, as a base for many perfumes with is natural woody middle tones.

You can use a diffuser that will disperse the oils in a micro-fine mist.

There are oils that can be used in humidifiers, you simply fill your humidifier and then place an oil soaked towel or tissue in front of the area that allows the vapor to escape into the room.

You can also add a few drops to a pot of boiling water, this allows the oil to be dispersed via the steam to permeate the home and fill it with a wonderful relaxing fragrance.

Lavender essential oils are also used topically.

A drop or two can be placed directly on the skin in areas such as the top of the head, behind the ears, on the neck or wrist as well as directly onto the feet.

Finally lavender essential oils can be taken internally.

You can even buy it in capsules or make them yourself, add a drop or two to a glass of milk or put it on a piece of bread.

Lavender essential oils consider a mild strength essential oils and it can be used in human and animal also.
