1. Another Year Over, and A New One Just Begun
Well, the year 2008 has begun and I wonder what it will really bring. Nothing special in the first day of 2008. For me, changing the year from 2007 to 2008 is just change another number. Yesterday is 2007 and today is 2008. So what, It’s not a big deal. But, today when I’m writing this e-zine, I have a bizarre feeling and realize that I haven’t done much last year, except for building this site. Creating this site is a big step for me. For newbie like me, this result is awesome. As this site grows better, I’d also grow in my knowledge and my personality. This makes me realize how much is important this site to me. Usually I don’t do New Year resolution. I kind of person who “just do it” without any plan. But this time is different. I feel that I have to make plans and set goals for the new year. Year 2008 is the year of hope. I put a lot of hopes and wishes this year. Hopefully you can be with me through all the year. Let’s do it together to make this site even better.
To wish you success in your work, I specially make these simple recipes. Work maybe an office, your home or outdoors, but no matter where your work, aromatherapy can make a real difference. For centuries, scent was used in smudging rituals to cure the sick and to cleanse and harmonize the atmosphere. Herbs such as sweetgrass, juniper and sage can be used to lift heavy energy and bring the benefit of a sweeter relantionship with your colleagues. To clear the air after a meeting : Sage is good for the lethargy and lowness the spirits, so you can use it at work literally to clear the air. This room spray is also use pine. Pine is great for purifying lingering negativity. Add 2 drops of clary sage and 2 drops of pine to water in a mister bottle and walk around the room spraying it into the centre of the room and into all the corners. Use this room spray to treat an office or meeting room after a long winded meeting, to clear the aura of tension that hang in the air long after the participants have departed. To clear the air after an argument : Juniper can help to purify any space in which the walls have probably witnessed more argument, negotiation or criticism. The combination between the juniper and clary sage makes a powerful space cleansing. Add 2 drops of clary sage and 2 drops of juniper to water in a mister bottle and walk around the room spraying it into the centre of the room and into all the corners. For Stay Focus : Essential oils like basil, rosemary and peppermint are have a good reputation for improving concentration and stay alert. These oils will also help you when your performance is under particular scrutiny. If you have driving test, interview or any situation, try smelling one of these concentrated oils straight from the bottle. Or you can add them to a tissue and you can carry them around. Smell the oil whenever you need a boost. 3. Review book of the month : Chicken Soup for the Soul - Living Your DreamsThis time I will review one of “chicken soup for the soul” ‘s book.
